Your role
As Automation Consultant, you will realize our customers’ digital ambitions by designing and building a smart digital infrastructure. You will bridge the gap between the business and technology, applying both your knowledge and interpersonal skills in advising our customers on issues relating to organizational and digital infrastructure. You have knowledge of and have worked with various automation platforms and apply the infrastructure-as-code principle in your thinking. You are good with people and can happily move between different teams, with a can-do attitude that ensures you can always devise and implement suitable solutions for the challenges you encounter.
What will your job entail?
- Assisting customers in translating their digital strategy into requirements for the digital infrastructure.
- Designing, realizing and supervising the implementation of automation solutions and infrastructure for customers in the Netherlands and beyond.
- Supervising the drafting of specifications for Requests for Proposals and assisting in supplier selection.
- Implementing technical process optimizations and major migrations together with our specialists and customers suppliers.
- Advising our customers on the provisioning of sustainable technology solutions.

Who are you?
You have a passion for technology and you like to pass it on to others. You work effectively in a team and have experience of changes at work. You are adept at devising suitable solutions to problems and like to share these with the people around you. You are good with people and can effectively involve them in your activities.
- You have at least five years’ experience as a consultant in (network) automation and a background in networks (Cisco or Juniper) or open source.
- You have worked with at least three of the following six technologies: Python, Ansible, Juniper Contrail, Cisco NSO, SALT and/or Itential and obtained certification in one or several of these.
- You have a university of applied sciences (HBO) degree (e.g. Applied Computer Science or System & Network Engineering).
- You like to work as part of dynamic (customer) environments.
- You are solution-oriented and you like to collaborate.
- You have an excellent command of written and spoken Dutch and English.
- You hold a driving license (B).
